Boulder

Three nights is a long time to stay in one place, but I'm glad that place was Boulder.  We rode in on Sunday and had a great evening of exploring and getting to know the town.

On Monday, we rode 3 miles to a build site where 3 houses were being built. Many spend the day on drywall and landscaping, while I spent a ton of time in the basement with insulation. 'Twas a blast. We came back the next day to even more projects. I spent my entire second day cutting wood for a deck with Sunny. We got really into one routine, and then there would be special cuts to figure out. I burnt myself on the jigsaw.

Not only was this an awesome build where there was always something to do,  but we also could stare at the Rockies while we did it. It was awesome.

Everything else kind of ran together. We explored the city, went on hikes, had dinner at the Boulder Brands office (which had a stellar view),
and I even had a spare minute to visit the Y and erg. It's weird how much you can hate and love a piece of equipment, but it was nice to move some different muscles for once.

Boulder was cool. I'm sad we have to leave. But that's the whole point...onward to Estes Park!
